Dansereau has managed the publication and marketing for Kalamalka Press books and recently self-published two book. Clay has edited and arranged publication for “Honey Bee Diseases and Pests” of which thousands of copies have been sold in English, French and Spanish and she designed, edited and formatted Virginia’s recent books.

Virginia has managed the publication and marketing for 5 of the original Kalamalka Press books which introduced new poets Greg Simison, Nancy Holmes, Karen Connelly, Su Croll and Sue Wheeler  to the literary scene. She recently self-published Smoke and Ash: Reflections on the 2021 Vernon BC Area Fires (a collaborative work with Heather Clay and Sue Urquhart) and I Know That Woman, a poetry book encompassing a lifetime of women’s experiences from age 3 – 93.

Heather, an expert in bee keeping and technology, has edited and arranged publication of Honey Bee Diseases and Pests of which thousands of copies have been sold in English, French and Spanish. She designed, edited and formatted Virginia’s recent books. She is also a leading member of ESS (Emergency Support Service) which aids wildfire and flood evacuees.  She serves wherever emergencies crop up, her last stints in Vernon and West Kelowna.
